Print Excellence And Knowledge (PEAK) Award
PEAK awards recognize companies that meet clients printing needs through creativity in design and manufacturing.
Micro Format, Inc., Wheeling IL
won an AWARD OF EXCELLENCE in the INNOVATION category
of the 2006 Print Excellence And Knowledge (PEAK) competition sponsored by Print Solutions Magazine,
published by the Document Management Industries Association (DMIA), Alexandria, Va.
The award is presented at DMIA's annual Print Solutions Conference & Expo, a national trade show.
The contest, which drew entries from North America and Europe,
"Winning a PEAK Award signifies a sharp focus on solving customer problems
or improving a customer's business," says Peter Colaianni, CAE, DMIA's executive vice president.
"PEAK awards are won by companies that add value to the products they sell."
The panel of industry experts who judged the contest included:
John Leininger,
professor in the Department of Graphic Communications at Clemson University
Joe Schwan,
who held top executive positions at Wallace Computer Services and Standard Register until his retirement in 2001
Ivars Sarkans,
a printing industry consultant and a member of the Board of Directors of the Print Education and Research Foundation
